THEORY

THEORY PAGE 12

THE MAIN MAGNITUDE OF THE ELECTRCITY ARE: INTENSITY (I), TENSION (V) AND RESISTANCE (R)

CURRENT INTENSITY (I): The electrical current intensity is the amount of current that circulates through the circuit

It's measured in Amperes by an amperemetre.

ampere<---AMPERIMETER

                                                                                       AMPERE--->

TENSION (also called voltage-> V): It's the force or energy that pushes the electrical current to criculate through the circuit. The bulbs motors etc use this energy to work. This energy is generated  thanks to de battery.

It is measured in Volts by a voltmeter.

<---VOLTMETER

                                                                                            VOLT--->

RESISTANCE (R):
Al the devices of a circuit are an obstacle to the electrical current. This oposition that the devices make is called resistance. when the resistance is higher more difficult is for the current to pass through it.

It's measured in Ohms.

Here the resistances are 10, 5 and 13 Ohms

RELAY THEORY

It's an element of control based on an electromagnet. It works as a switcher and it's controlled by electricity. It's principal functions are electric motor's control and acticating circuits of high power and the allow to open and close circuits without the intervention of a human being.

EXERCISES

EXERCISE 9 SHEET

       CIRCUITO 1

In order that the bulb is ignited is necessary to activate I1 and I2 .
     CIRCUITO 2

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to activate I1.

 CIRCUITO 3

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to activate I1 or I2 or you can activate both at the same time.
     CIRCUITO 4

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to activate I1 and push P1.

        CIRCUITO 5

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to activate I1 and I2.

        CIRCUITO 6

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to activate only I1 beacuse if we activate I2 there is short-circuit.

     CIRCUITO 7

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to activate I1 and I2.

    CIRCUITO 8

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to push P2.

 CIRCUITO 9

In order that the bulb is ignited we have to activate I1 and I2.
